PpTek was formed in 2000 after extensive work investigating the effects of Siloxanes and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) in the Gas- Energy industry.
Working with several leading Universities in the UK PpTek developed a fluid that, when injected into a gas burning engine, helped significantly to break down deposits of damaging Siloxanes.
Research continued, along side the production of the injection system, into gas contamination culminating in the development of an inline regenerative adsorption system designed to remove Siloxanes and VOC’s from gas.
PpTek continues to perform research and development into cleaning of various contaminates in a range of gases in addition to derivatives of current siloxane adsorption system.
