Features of the BioGas ManualKleen (BGMK)
The BioGas ManualKleen (BGMK) uses identical media to all other PpTek filters, capturing the siloxane molecules in the same way.
The BGMK is less complex than the BGAK operating with only one filter unit and is therefore ideally suited to low- medium flow (typically 50 m3/hr - 350 m3/hr) on sewage gas that is moderately contaminated.
Due to a greater adsorption level, the media will last up to 3 months before needing regeneration, which is performed by PpTek on site.
When the unit requires regeneration the media cassettes are exchanged by PpTek and regenerated at the PpTek factory.
Being less complex than the BGAK it is also smaller, less expensive an easily installed.
As with all PpTek filters the BGMK is easily moved to another site if an operators circumstances demand.
With the filter media lasting 5 years, there is no materials to remove from site or dispose of.
