Yapton, W. Sussex, UK. 1 May 2007
Kelda Water, a division of United Utilities, has today chosen PpTek to partner with in removing Siloxanes from their BioGas at the Swansea Bay Sewage Treatment Works (STW).
A new CHP installation will be completed during the summer of 2007 and, partnering with EnerG, a leading CHP supplier in Europe, PpTek will supply the successful BGAK 6000.
Swansea Bay STW occupies a position on the Southern Welsh shore line and has been designed to blend in with the surrounding seascape. The CHP and filtration system will be surrounded by a landscaped area that will blend in with the overall achitechture.
Bill Cowing, Director of Sales and Marketing commented “The Swansea Bay site was another tight installation but working closely with EnerG we have been able to employ the compact dimmensions of the BGAK 600 to greatest effect. Our early faith in the new BGAK 600 has been further strengthened by this contract”.
