Stoke Bardolph STW, Nottingham, UK

Severn Trent Water, one of the leaders in CHP installations in the UK, recently upgraded their CHP installation at Stoke Bardolph to enable greater efficient use of the BioGas. Two new 1.15mW Jerbacher CHP's were installed to augment the aging Deutz engines. This site has had a history of bad siloxane contamination and chose to fit an automatic PpTek siloxane filter (BGAK2400) to solve their problems. With a gas flow of 2000 m³/hr the filter also protects the boilers as well as the CHP's.
