Bad gas quality and subsequent high CHP maintenance costs have prompted Wessex Water to invest in a siloxane filtration system from PpTek. They chose the new compact BGAK600 automatic siloxane filter, which has a capacity of 650 m3/hr gas flow, to control their contamination problems. The location of the siloxane filter within an existing boiler room, with limited space, makes the BGAK600 siloxane filter very attractive to protect both boilers and CHP's.
