Wessex Water has suffered with significant siloxane contaminated waste, from a local perfume manufacturer, causing their 105kW MAN to require frequent major rebuilds and oil / plug changes. Wessex chose a cost effective PpTek manual siloxane filter to protect their MAN engine which has changed their view of power generation on site and prompted an engine upgrade and rethink of boiler protection.
