Having recently replaced old CHP’s at this United Utilities site the new engines have been suffering from Siloxane damage. As a Phase 1 improvement, United Utilities has decided to fit a PpTek siloxane filter to solve their siloxane contamination problems. An additional siloxane filter is also planned to be fitted during Phase 2, when addition site improvements are implemented.
